Paulette Oliff, with her many years of international experience, saw the need for a South African training facility that offered comprehensive and professional courses which would align with well established international hair and makeup industry standards.

Paulette’s passion and flair for assisting youngsters with an interest in makeup, to achieve their highest potential within this rigorous and competitive industry, was the motivation behind the establishment of The Makeup Agenda.

The School

Since its inception in 2003, the company has gone from strength to strength, beginning with the opening of the Makeup Agenda School. The school has since produced many successful makeup artists and hair stylists. Her students graduate at a level of exceptional quality, and enter the industry with all the knowledge and expertise that Paulette has gathered from her years of international experience, working only with the best.

The Studio

Classes are held at The Makeup Agenda’s studio which is located in the heart of Cape Town’s dynamic fashion and media centre. Casting and modelling agencies, as well as film and media companies abound in the area, affording Paulette’s students access to the best business opportunities that Cape Town has to offer. Our highly sophisticated technology and lighting equipment enables students to learn from and to work confidently with the finest the industry has to offer.

Specialised Services

Apart from offering professional tuition, The Makeup Agenda provides clients with any professional makeup and hairstyling services they may require. These include:-

• Professional Photographic/Film Shoots (weddings, portraits, commercials, movies etc.)
• Avant Garde Styling (for fashion shows etc.)
• Special Effects Makeup (ageing, wounds, unique skin textures etc.)

We will work closely with your art director to ensure we deliver the look and feel you require and are able to provide a full team of professionally trained makeup and hair artists to handle stringent deadlines.
